Gabriel Dresdale is a genre-blending, spiritually conscious Musician, Multi-Instrumentalist, Singer-Songwriter, Composer and Music Educator. He was born and raised in Woodstock, NY, where he now lives with his wife, Brazilian singer-songwriter Mariana Barcellos Song, and their daughter Michaela Jasmin.
Gabriel’s main instrument is Cello, which he began playing at the age of 5. He plays a variety of styles including classical, jazz, world, free improvisation, folk and rock. He also plays Guitar and Piano, as well as the Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass Recorders.
Gabriel teaches music lessons privately from his home and on zoom. He writes for and performs with the band Levanta, with his wife under the name Bliss, as a solo artist, and with the string trio Hudson Pro Musica. He is available for hire to play at weddings, memorials, special events and recording sessions.
