A cellist since age 5, I am a multi-instrumentalist and composer who was born and raised in Woodstock, NY. After studying Music at SUNY Ulster County Community College, Cello Performance at The Music Conservatory at Brooklyn College, and Cello Performance, Composition and Political Theory with the late composer and baritone saxophonist Fred Ho, I have made Woodstock my home once again and now perform and teach music in and around the Hudson Valley.
I am currently playing with and writing for the bands Levanta and Sonark Trio, both collaborations with the multi-instrumentalist and sound healer Thomas Workman. I also play original songs with my partner Mariana Barcellos, a Brazilian-American singer-songwriter.
Through music, I strive to create a synthesis of intellect and emotion; tackling the challenges of environmental, social, and political change through my art. I hope to contribute to the spiritual awakening and renewal of humanity, and to help inspire the formation of a global community in which human beings coexist peacefully with each other and the earth.
